Syon is the magnificent Grade I listed London residence of the Duke of Northumberland. We will have a morning tour of the House to see Robert Adam’s series of striking classical interiors fitted with antiques shipped from Italy in the 1760’s. There are light lunch facilities in the grounds and then there will be time to explore at leisure the 40 acres of gardens, in particular the spectacular Great Conservatory. The surrounding parkland was one of the first major commissions for Capability Brown.
