Visit to Waddesdon Manor Aylesbury, Bucks – Wednesday 12th June 2024

Waddesdon Manor

A visit not to be missed for its exceptional architecture, art collections and gardens. Built in the style of a French Renaissance Chateau by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild between 1874 and 1885 it is home to the Rothschild collection especially renowned for the quality and depth of its French 18C furniture, porcelain and textiles. It opened to the public in 1959 and the Rothschild Foundation, a family charitable trust, continues to manage the property on behalf of the National Trust as well as providing the majority of the funding.

We will be divided into 3 groups for private guided tours of the Manor in the morning and will be free to explore at leisure in the afternoon.  Lunch and refreshments are available on site.

 

Departing Grayshott at 08.30 hrs and returning approximately 18.30 hrs

Tickets include transport, entry and tour of the Manor

         £44 per person having a CURRENT National Trust card which you need to bring on the day

         – £49 per person without NT membership
